Jose Espinosa Cancer Donations

CalArts grad Jose Espinosa (Music BFA 98) has played with LA favorites Ozomatli and other internationally known bands since graduation. His personal battle with cancer has rallied his friends and fellow CalArts alumni to quickly put together a benefit fundraising show on Dec. 5th.

Jose “Crunchy” Espinosa is an incredible papi, husband, brother, son, friend and musician. For the past two years he has been battling cancer with determination and strength. It has been a long painful journey, especially over the past six months, but Jose has faith in his ability to overcome this disease. He has set this intention in his heart and with all the love, positive prayers and thoughts he is receiving right now, Jose knows he will heal. When asked about the benefit Jose says, ” I am searching my soul to find the answer the creator wants me to find. I am currently in the fight of my life and am grateful for those who are trying to help me. The love I feel right now has been more than I could ever imagine. This festival is not only for me, the spirit of it, is for all those fighting the good fight against cancer, everywhere in the world.”
